Alaska!

I'm glad I finally get to ride this season and I thought I'd end it right.
Heading to Anchorage, AK tomorrow... they've been getting snow! Hopefully that left face will have some turns left in her this weekend.

Bacon

Man, do I love the smell of bacon in the morning! I was out walking the dawg around my neighborhood today, not real early but the type of early that everyone usually is up. Anyways, I turned the corner to connect with another street and this bacon scent was a sure shot straight into the nostrils! It was the kind of smell, that when you smell it, you get an instant flash back of either one time or the last time of a memory of when that smell entered your brain. This was fucking amazing... today is going to be a great day!

Sweet Toof

Yes I have one, a really bad sweet tooth! About two days ago I was eating some delicious candy on my drive into work, nerds rope to be exact. So I'm chewing and chewing and happen to break one of my lower molars. I didn't break it entirely just the inner half ha ha ha and yeah, it fucking hurt. So I went into the dentist yesterday and just under two hours I received a new toof! Here is a pic of my new toof getting made out of a chunk of white vitrified translucent ceramic known as porcelain.

3 Sheets

I fucking love sushi! Now that I've lived out here in Indiana my liver finally loves me. Back in Utah about 9 months ago my liver and I had this kind of karate chop battle brewing between us. It's not my fault I'm a fucking social party rat that loves to gnaw away at the early youth in a bar scene. Anyways, lets just say I drank way to much. Now its hard to think of the last time I was even drunk which is great! From time to time I like to indulge myself with something of taste and see how deep my feelings are toward this liver.
Last Friday my friends and I went out for some raw tune, fish n tempura. Once again I was 3 shits shy of a turd and seeing blind! Not really but we did fill up on about 5 bottles of sake, cheers to running into bushes and getting a flower stuck in your hair, to honor...cuz if you can't cum in her you cum honor, the shots went on and on it seemed like without an end.
I haven't had a decent night in this town since I moved here but I will be on the road again in a few months not certain on where but I'm glad to have friends in random places! Cheers!

Tired?

Middle of the Afternoon Energy Slump

Most people feel drowsy after lunch.  This middle of the afternoon drop in energy levels is linked to the brain’s circadian rhythm and is hard wired into the human body.  Prevention may be impossible, but there are ways to reduce the severity of the slump, including the following:

  • A fit, healthy, and well-rested body is less prone to severe drowsiness in the afternoon.
  •         Eat a combination of protein and carbohydrates for lunch.  Carbohydrates provide glucose for energy.
  • Get moving.  A brisk walk or even 10 minutes of stretching at your desk improves blood flow and boosts energy.

Art

For a lot of you who know me you've seen my art over the years and many of you actually own a few. Anyways, I posted some of my favorites for the viewers that have not. More to come I'm not dead yet!!!

Printmaking-

I was excited about how this flower turned out, it became to cover of a local poetry book back in 2002.

Paintings-

Ok so I'll post a couple of pics of this painting since "Tia" doesn't think I'm the artist. ha ha

Reads

I've been reading a lot lately due to the fact I'm done paying fifty bones a month on television I only watched on my days off. Plus, just paying to sit in front of something that never has anything visually stimulating enough for a monthly payment seems kinda lame. So here are a few books I jumped into:

Armageddon in Retrospect, Kurt Vonnegut
Lucky, Alice Sebold
Animal Farm, George Orwell
and the author of Fight Club
Chuck Palahniuk's, Survivor

Following Mt. Ashland, OR. 2005

Guess I'm starting a blog, which I should of done along time ago when my life was a bit more exciting...
I've been thinking to myself about how I will be opening my first entry and I was going to open with a video of my trashy neighbors dancing to 50 cent in the street in front of their house. Believe me you would of been pleased! Well lets just say when I got home I was stunned, and didn't react fast enough to snatch the recorder.
So instead of pure enlightenment of this disgusting scene I'll show something old with taste.

One of my better pow days. Kevin McNally & myself engulf ourselves on the back side of Mt. Ashland.
